Role Middleware Admin - Jboss and Weblogic
Mandatory Functional Skills • Must have hands-on experience with J2EE (JBoss and Tomcat) platform
Total experience in required skill (years) 6+ Years
• Background in building REST as well as SOAP services
• Working knowledge of SVN , CVS and Git Code Repositories
• Well versed in Weblogic, Apache web server, Oracle and VMWare
• Extensive knowledee about integration technologies like Webservices and deployments.
• Knowdleg about HornetQ based integrations.
• Extensive experience in build and depeloyment of applications in JBoss and Weblogic servers in a LINUX based virtualized enviornment.
• Manage installation, configuration and updates of web infrastructure components in a multi-tier, virtualized environments
• Design and implement solutions based on various middleware technologies, such as WebLogic, JBOSS, HornetQ, Webservice and XML Messaging/Gateway, between two or more systems within multiple target platforms that may include Windows, Unix/Linux or z/OS.
• Ability to demonstrated experience with configuration management, provisioning, monitoring and trending, package building, firewalls and general support of developers in a VM enviornment
• Experience in installing, clustering, and doing performance tuning and troubleshooting for JBoss and Weblogic applications servers
• Experience in integrating and deploying applications on JBoss and Weblogic servers in a shared hosting environment
• Extensive knowledge about Java and J2EE ,XML and Web Services
• Experience in Performance Tuning Java/J2EE Applications
• Working knowledge of production Web hosting environments is required / UNIX and Shell Scripting
• Hold and Maintain a proficiency in middleware technologies and industry best practices.
• Knowledge about log monitoring tools like SPLUNK
• Knowledge about application server monitoring tools like Zabbix
Roles and responsibility Able to work with client for understanding the requirement
Able to work on understanding the impact of the changes
Able to manage application servers end to end including build and deployment based on JBOSS and Weblogic Servers
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills • Knowledge about JENKINS and other Continous integrations platforms will be big plus
