2. Knowledge in all packet based protocols such as TCPIP, MPLS and routing protocols such ISIS, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP4
3. Expert in fundamental IPEthernet networking
Nice to have skills (Top 2 only)
1. Certification prefered CCNA,JNCIA
Detailed Job Description:
Knowledge in all packet based protocols such as TCPIP, MPLS and routing protocols such ISIS, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP4. Knowledge of LAN Switching architecture, design and implementation. Must be an expert in fundamental IPEthernet networking i.e. ARP, broadcast storms, L2 Loop avoidance mechanisms, etc. Experienced in the design and operation of NokiaAlcatelLucent, Cisco and Juniper network products and software. Clear understanding of modern router architecture control plane.
Minimum years of experience*:
5+
Top 3 responsibilities :
1. Supports deployments of new services, systems, applications and architectures with installation, configuration, integration, evaluation, testing, documentation, and training
2. Creates test plans tests and validates functionality, management and performance for existing new technologies
3. Performs design functions in Granite for Cox Business products in HFC and OnNetwork fiber locations
